But neither was architected for customer intelligence.

What building customer intelligence on the Microsoft stack actually requires

The typical starting point: "We're all in on Microsoft. Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Dynamics. Let's build customer intelligence there."

Then your product team asks: "What are the top reasons enterprise customers are churning?" And you realize the limits.

Governance infrastructure. Customer Intelligence data has to meet compliance, audit, and security requirements. That's your responsibility on Fabric, in addition to everything else.

Business UX finally. Your product manager doesn't speak Fabric. They don't think in notebooks or Power BI DAX. They think in workflows: I have accounts, show me the signals, let me act on them. You build that interface. Or you accept that customer teams can't self-serve.

You're not building a feature. You're building a platform.

Why Fabric doesn't close the gap for Customer ?Intelligence?

Fabric solves persistence. It doesn't solve intelligence.
