UX

Over the past week, our development team rolled out impactful improvements to make your experience better. Here’s what’s new:

Clusters as Evidence on Threads 🎉

Threads just got smarter! You can now use clusters to answer high-level questions. This feature provides a clear and meaningful overview, especially when individual video clips aren’t as helpful.

Unified Taxonomy for Recordings and Highlights 🎉

Tagging has leveled up! Recordings now share the same taxonomy as highlights, making it easier to organize data across sources. Whether your highlights come from uploaded recordings or external platforms, everything is now connected:

  • Tag a recording (e.g., "User Interview"), and all related highlights inherit the tag.

  • Enjoy advanced tagging benefits: renaming, deleting, color assignments, and a polished UI.

Note: We’ve automatically migrated your old recording labels to tags (prefixed with r/ for easy identification).

Faster AI for Highlight Processing 🎉

Uploading highlights? Our fine-tuned AI model now processes them considerably faster. Enjoy quicker insights with less waiting.

AppStore Import for Free Accounts 🎉

We’ve unlocked Apple AppStore imports for free users! Now, everyone can explore dashboards with real-world data. Dive in and see what’s possible.

Guided Dashboard Exploration 🎉

Freemium users and new sign-ups often lack enough data to fully experience our dashboards. To solve this, we’ve added a banner that:

  1. Encourages users to upload more data.

  2. Offers a tour of our Spotify demo, showcasing dashboard functionality in action.

No more semi-empty dashboards—now you can explore the full potential of NEXT!

Turn customer voice into business impact, faster.
